Our inspections include a complete inspection of the crawl space, living areas and attic.  We use state-of-the-art equipment to determine moisture problems, particle counts, temperature and humidity, air sampling and bulk sampling and upon request thermal photography.  At the conclusion of the inspection, our customers receive a detailed, easy-to-understand report and lab interpretations.

Drying before mold has a chance to start to grow is a big part of what we do.  We are certified in water restoration by the IICRC and have successfully dried hundreds of homes, crawl spaces and buildings.  We monitor the drying on a daily basis and record moisture readings in a moisture log.  Our average crawl space drying time is 3 to 5 days.

HealthyGuard™ is a process combining electrostatic technology and mPale® (AEGIS™ antimicrobial) that pro-actively removes and prevents all molds, bacteria, algae and yeast growth.  The mPale® antimicrobial permanently bonds to all surfaces and cannot be rubbed or wiped off.  After which, the negatively charge microbes are attracted to the positively charged mPale® surfaces and then “electrocuted” and virtually eliminated.  The HealthyGuard™ process virtually eliminates microbial growth and the damage it causes.  Since mPale® cannot be absorbed or rubbed off it will continue to work indefinitely as long as the surface remains in tack.  The HealthyGuard™ process is used for a wide-variety of applications and the following are to name a few:

The MicroGuard® product line provides an eco-friendly, inorganic sealants for superior performance and protection for non-ferrous metal, hard tile, terrazzo, concrete, and painted metal surfaces.  Sealed surfaces cannot be stained, fade, oxidize, corrode and are extremely abrasion and slip.  Mold cannot grow on MicroGuard® sealed surfaces.  Only water and “green” products are recommended for cleaning making MicroGuard® environmentally eco-friendly products.

Our duct cleaning system is truly the most up-to-date system on the market today.  As a value added feature, the entire duct cleaning can be recorded on a VHS tape (when applicable) which provides assurance to our customers that their ducts were in fact cleaned.

In some cases removing moldy materials such as commercial pipe insulation, metal rafters, concrete, etc. is cost prohibited.  After the materials are dried and cleaned, the encapsulate product is applied to the surfaces via paint brush or airless paint sprayer.  Once applied, this non-organic paint like substance is nearly impossible to crack, peel or be removed and in no way can VOC’s escape through the product.  It is also used to encapsulate lead and asbestos materials.

HealthyGuard™is a unique process that combines electrostatic sprayers and AEGIS™, an EPA registered proven antimicrobial product that not only eliminates and prevents all molds, bacteria, algae and yeast, but continues indefinitely to prevent microbial growth that cause ill health effects long after the treatment has been administered.  HealthyGuard™ is a non-toxic, colorless and odorless solution.

HealthyGuard™ is a multi-purpose product that effectively cleans the air and all surfaces where mold and bacteria have grown.  It is used to prevent mold and bacteria from growing even in moist, damp conditions. The following list some of the many applications where HealthyGuard™ has been used:

• New Construction - Applied to homes and wood structure buildings to stop mold growth on wooden structures (studs, joists, sub-floors, firewalls, etc) during the construction phase of the building.

Anabec is a non-toxic cleaning solution used to wipe and remove mold from porous and non-porous surfaces.  It is safe and effective on almost all services where there is mold and bacteria growth.  It is also effective in removing bacteria and by removing bacteria, it removes odor.

MicroGuard® Protective Sealants:  

MicroGuard® is an in-organic, clear, saline based product that restores and protects HVAC systems, non-ferrous metals, tile, concrete, and masonry floors and walls for years.  Once applied it is not easily removed and can last for years before maintenance is required.  When maintenance is necessary only the wear pattern area needs resealing not the entire flooring area. MicroGuard® is not a topical or surface only sealant it covalently (permanent) bonds to the product it is applied to.

MicroGuard® sealed products only require water or “green” products to clean and since it is in-organic mold can not grow on sealed surfaces.  MicroGuard® also makes a powerful anti-graffiti sealant that makes removing graffiti as easy as spray and wipe.

Encasement Systems:  

This non-organic paint-like product is used to encase rather than remove mold, asbestos and lead based materials.  Instead of the costly removal of materials such as mold invested insulated pipes, lead painted surfaces and asbestos encasing or encapsulating these materials can save hundreds of thousands of dollars.  Recently the US Government saved over $100,000 to encase asbestos pipe insulation rather than remove and re-wrap the pipes.

Electrostatic Machine:  

We deliver all mold and bacteria products through an electrostatic machine.  The electrostatic machine charges the product as it is released from the machine and the coverage is 70% times better than ordinary delivery systems such as an airless paint sprayer.

Laser Particle Counter (LPC):  

The LPC measures the number of airborne particles in the mold and bacteria range from .03, .05, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0 and 10.0 micron ranges.  We use the LPC to monitor initial particle contamination counts in mold remediation projects.  During the remediation project, we use the LPC to monitor the increase and decrease of particles.

We also use the LPC during indoor air quality testing to alleviate unnecessary air testing.   We take counts to determine the areas in a home or building with the highest counts and then take the air samples in those specific areas.

 

High Volume Air Pump:  

We use this equipment during indoor air quality testing.  The airflow pathway is designed to pull air through the Air-O-Cell® by this high flow pump and impact the particles onto a transparent adhesive slide in the center of the cassette.  As the air passes through the cassette a wide array of aerosols such as mold spores, pollen, skin fragments, fiberglass, and clothing fibers, is caught on the adhesive.  The cassettes are sent to an accredited laboratory for analysis.

 

Digital Photography:  

Every job we do is well documented with photography.  The pictures are recorded onto compact discs and labeled with the job name.  When the job is complete, the discs and all documents pertaining to the job are filed.

 

 

 

 

Documentation: 

In addition to photography, an important part of all mold remediation jobs is documentation. Every detail of on-going remediation jobs is documented in a log book.  Each page in the log book is numbered for quick reference, accuracy and is court admissible.

 

Video Duct Cleaning System

• Brush head is inserted into ductwork at the register
• If certain circumstances, the duct cleaning can be video monitored and recorded to VHS tape. This allows our technician  and the customer to see the cleaning on the full-color monitor. 
• On its path through the ductwork, a combination of adjustable-sized stationary brush and variable-speed rotating brush  loosen contaminants from inner walls of duct
• A powerful stream of compressed air pushes loosened debris toward the plenum
• Debris is collected by a powerful HEPA-filtered vacuum.
• The disinfectant sprayer mounted on the brush head then sanitizes all ductwork on its return path to the register.
• Our system proves to the customer beyond a doubt that their ventilation system has really been cleaned!
